Coryum leather goods were born in 2016 from the passion for Made in Italy of the craftsman Massimiliano. Located in the historic center of Cerveteri, cradle of the Etruscan civilization and Unesco Heritage.
Belts, wallets, bags and various accessories are handmade as they once were according to artisan traditions: cutting, assembly, painting, and final finishing are all handcrafted steps.
The peculiarity of Coryum leather goods, in addition to contributing to a circular economy like that of real leather, is to work vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather and hides without toxic substances for man and the environment. Thanks to this tanning method, no heavy metals or highly polluting substances are used to tan the leather (chromium, formaldehyde etc.) but only natural substances such as tannins.
Furthermore, ecological water-based glues and organic and natural fabrics are used for the processing, such as organic cotton and Tyrolean felt in pure virgin wool.
Each piece can be customized with engravings or drawings according to the customer’s needs.
