I carry on with my tenacity and passion my small family-run farm committed to producing an organic and monovarietal extra virgin olive oil. My commitment to protect the health of our planet is concretized with the constant respect of the biological disciplinary in the management of my secular olive grove, from which I obtain a valuable monovarietal oil that can boast important awards in the prestigious Slow Food and Gambero Rosso guides, as well as to be present for many years in the catalog of monovarietal oils with excellent ratings. Even in the extraction process, all attention is observed to ensure that the oil remains organic and is not contaminated with residues from previous processes. In addition, I am committed to safeguarding an ancient variety of autochthonous olive tree called “straight” typical of the Pescara hinterland, in Abruzzo, and plants with many years of history on their trunks and branches. Delia Orsini oil has a low acidity and is very rich in polyphenols which make it pleasantly bitter and spicy with intense fruity aromas.
