Junker, the app that makes home recycling easy and fast, is a suite (smartphone app + web portal) that allows you to immediately identify a product from its barcode and, based on the user’s geolocation, indicate the correct disposal bin is certain and immediate.
Developed for tablets and smartphones and available on iOS and Android platforms, it is the point of contact with the citizen who thus benefits from a truly complete, interactive and always accessible service.
By scanning the barcodes printed on the packaging, writing the name of the product or even taking a photo of the object itself, the Junker application recognizes the product and allows:
- The citizen to obtain the indication to sort the waste correctly.
- The Municipality / Manager to interact with citizens, learning and improving the information process thanks to one-click reports.
In addition to the various ways of recognizing the product, Junker provides additional information to the user regarding separate waste collection, for example: a calendar that indicates days and times of exposure; maps indicating collection, reuse and recovery points, municipal collection centers and circular economy points; in-depth information pages on individual materials / packaging; messages from the Municipality / Manager with the latest updates on separate waste collection.
