This Jewelry Collection uses Sustainably Sourced recycled and bio based materials to lessen our carbon footprint. Specifically designed for those who are mindful of their Environmental Impact.
Each piece of Microplastic is cleaned off of the beach by me-carefully cleaned and transformed into a piece of jewelry so as to inspire a discussion about our environment and how we might make a change for the better.
A percentage of proceeds go back to Sustainable Coastlines Hawai’i, a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission of inspiring local communities to care for their coastlines. SCH does this by hosting large scale beach cleanups that have removed over half a million pounds of debris from Hawaii’s coastlines, educational programs in schools across the islands and waste diversion services for events.

By pulling these pieces from the ocean and beach—cleaning and turning them into jewelry or art gives them new life-therefore keeping it from landfills or rather-back in the ocean. ??
