The surrounding area, for our company, has always represented an element of value and a wealth to be safeguarded, through the responsible use of all the resources and the protection of the ecosystems of which the rice fields represent a great reality of biodiversity.
For this reason, we have promptly researched new cutting-edge techniques for sustainable agriculture that would improve every phase of the production cycle and at the same time be of benefit in reducing environmental pollution.
In this sense we have obtained:
- the agri-food certification of Integrated Production (SQNPI – operational since 2016 at Community level) which governs production with a view to having a lower impact on man and the environment. In addition to compliance with these specifications, a rigorous traceability system is also adopted for products that come from farms like ours that apply the rules of the SQNPI;
- we have equipped ourselves with a large photovoltaic system to produce 100% of the energy that the company needs in total autonomy, reducing CO2 emissions and reducing pollution during each phase of the production cycle.
Among the recent innovative digital agriculture techniques we use drones (remote piloted aircraft system) in the paddy field to bring benefits to the mass of vegetation, the finished product and production costs.
