We are currently running a seed bank, storing and exchanging vegetable seed variety from Sicily and the world.
We are a no profit group inspired by the idea that seed should be free to share and ‘independent’ from human care, hence the name Sementi Indipendenti.
We are also providing classes for seed savers, promote seed exchange in local communities and design gardens for easy reproduction with several soil regeneration techniques.
One of our favorite quotes are “they wanted to bury us, but they didn’t know we were seeds” and “the best seed bank is the soil”.
