The Labyrinth is a responsible and community tourism operator that is committed to promoting ethical travel experiences based on the values and principles of the indigenous peoples and local communities of Central America, so that they can enjoy the full right to manage tourism in their lands.

Our mission provides for the improvement of the quality of life of the populations, to protect and enhance their social, cultural and environmental identities, and to support their endogenous development. We act according to the principles of social, environmental and economic justice with the aim of making tourism one of the sustainable tools capable of fighting poverty and the different types of discrimination.

The Labyrinth also organizes International School Tourism (IST) experiences, in which students undergo training processes for international cooperation, with the aim of participating in the construction of an intercultural world made of a sense of global citizenship, respect for human rights and land rights. In this context, students participate in processes of reforestation, construction of eco-villages, and learn techniques of organic agriculture based on the principles of permaculture.

Furthermore, part of the cost of our trips goes to the protection, maintenance and enhancement of the natural resources present in the different tropical and subtropical ecosystems in which we operate.
