Urike’s concept of sustainability is linked to having the least possible impact on our environment and at the same time having a positive effect on our society.

Having the lowest possible environmental impact means trying to make conscious choices in the selection of the fabrics used, collection tags, labels and product packaging. Making therefore not only the product itself sustainable but also everything that accompanies it.
Specifically for our part of clothing we use stock fabrics (leftovers from other productions) or certified (GOTS and OEKO tex), while for our candles we use natural soy wax, recycled or second-hand glass jars and natural essential oils. All tags are made of recycled cardboard while the shipping bags are plastic-free, biodegradable and compostable.
While as regards generating a positive effect on society, for Urike it means producing in an ethical manner, entrusting the tailoring of the garments to local professionals, specifically from Parma and Reggio Emilia, who are paid fairly for the work done.

For the realization of the candles it is the founder of the brand who takes care of the casting.
Social sustainability is also fundamental to be able to support causes in which you believe and to which you are personally linked. This is why Urike supported the Loto Onlus association (linked to ovarian cancer) with two initiatives.
