Pheal joins the “One Tree Planted” project for global reforestation

The company Pheal, specialized in the production of cosmetics based on vine sap, joins the project of the non-profit association One Tree Planted, created to support the global reforestation program in the territories of North America, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

“We have witnessed with dismay several cases of maxi forest fires globally, starting with those in South-Eastern Australia that burned about 11 million hectares, leading to the death of about 25 thousand koalas – explains Giulia Capra, owner of the Pheal – not to mention the fires in California where 50,000 hectares of vegetation were burned and where it was necessary to employ 14,000 firefighters to put out the flames. Reflecting on this, we wanted to make our contribution”.

In fact, for each Pheal product sold, One Tree Planted will be donated a tree to be planted in one of the areas of the planet among those identified by the organization. “We chose One Tree Planted – explains Pheal – because in addition to dealing with reforestation, it also deals with the long-term job development of the populations living in the territories where the organization operates: from arborists, to loggers and researchers”.
